Home is Where the Haunt Is...

I love Halloween. When I worked in the real world I would dress up and go to work. This is me from 2005:



I called myself Melvira...I think it worked.

Then in 2006, I was a Skeleton Monk:

Last year, I missed out on all the fun because I was sequestered away writing. But this year, I plan to dress up and thoroughly enjoy myself. I'm thinking Zombie...what do you think?

    I've never been a scary Halloween costume. I've always done pretty or funny.

    I was an 80s chick this past Sat night for a party (with my Duran Duran husband...who was rockin' the authentic skinny tie). I think we'll do that again on Fri night to hand out candy.

    Then on Sat night, for another party, I'm going as Sarah Palin. I'm trying to get Mr. Brice to go as Sean Hannity, but I think he's enamored of the skinny tie and is gonna be an 80s guy again. I thought maybe he could claim to be a Saving and Loan scandal guy.

    I love dressing up--I don't do scary, either...

    I'm going as a geisha for halloween (I did the same last year, but I got a new outfit this year), and the manpanion has a samurai costume.

    I'm always something lazy like an ice hockey player with blacked out teeth and blood on her jersey. I think of it as an extension of my tshirt and jeans life.

    dudes! Scary costumes are the funnest! I'll admit I used to love to dress up as a Gypsy when I was a kid. It game me a great excuse to get into my mom's costume jewelry and scarves!

    Amanda--you're going as Sarah Palin and you don't like scary costumes? *doh* sorry, couldn't resist. LOL

    Zombie - YES!!

    I haven't dressed up in years. How fun.

    Once I went to work (in Memphis) dressed in a formal gown, crown, and a Ms. Arkansas Sash. I looked GOOD! LOL Not.
